This page of the DASA website is dedicated to the aircraft scale modelling enthusiasts, especially those keen on the DC-3 and C-47 scale models.
Contributions in the way of model kit reviews, photographs of completed models or any suggestions as to what can be done to improve this page will be most welcome.
I would like to encourage modellers to prepare DC-3 and C-47 models for display at the DC-3 75th anniversary celebrations in December 2010. Venue and format of function still to be determined.

Modelling the SAAF C-47TP - Turbo DAK in 1/72 scale
SAAF Turbo Dakota schemes can be made with the SAAF Turbo Dak conversion kit made by Heritage Aviation Models
It is designed to be used with the 1/72 scale Italeri kit number 127

Please note that the conversion kit is specific to SAAF C-47 turbo dak and is not suitable for a Basler conversion.
