Hello John.

I have today seen your site about Dakotas in Africa, very nice and informative. I have some pics here that I took when I was in Somalia in 1988. These aircraft were scattered on the open area between the main runway and the coastal strip at Mogadishu International Airport.

The Americans removed all the aircraft that were there, which there were some 20 or more different types when they "invaded" the country. I wanted to get into the area that these aircraft were in to get better photos and possibly some sort of identification, but the risk was being shot at by trigger itchy Somali's.
