Colin Shedden, retired Williamson Diamond Mine DC-3 Captain, wrote...
You may be interested to know that we bought ZS-DHX c/n 32656 from the South African Company Wenela, their principle usage was to bring native labour to the mines from elsewhere in Africa. It was renamed VR-TBJ. One thing I particularly remember was the seats. They were small with low backs and were used in RSA so as to get the maximum number of seats within the aircraft.
